"Our Editor, Adrian Thomas, has just been made Profesor Honorario Extranjero de la Universidad de Buenos Aires , Repulica Argentina (Honorary Professor, University of Buenos Aires , Argentina ), 2009. He gave a lecture to go with this at the University of Buenos Aires on  "Henri Becquerel and Charles Darwin."

He also gave the opening lecture of the Argentinean Congress on "Ephemera in Radiology

Adrian has just been made Vice-President of the British Society for the History of Medicine and will be made President in 2011.
 

He has also just started his 2-year term as President of The Osler Club of London.
